Marking the centenary of the 1913 Natives' Land Act event: 18 June 2013

We have spoken about the Centenary of the 1913 Natives' Land Act Commemoration, we have had disgrace posters placed around the departmental buildings and also had them displayed during exhibitions and major workshops that the department has attended and hosted.

By this time most if not all staff members should feel as being part of the commemoration as we moved from the disgrace phase which lamented the injustices which were caused by the Act to the current phase of embrace.

The moment of truth has finally arrived and we are pleased to inform you that the Department will commemorate The Centenary of the Natives' Land Act during a two day exhibition which will take place in Cape Town from 20 to 21 June 2013.

The event is expected to be one of the biggest that the department has ever hosted and it will be wrapped up in style on 21 June 2013 with a concert featuring songbird Zahara and other artists.

The event will be attended by the President of the Republic of South Africa Mr Jacob Zuma, Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform

The details of the event are as follows:

Date 20-21 June 2013
Venue: Cape Town Convention Centre, Walter Sisulu Ave, Cape Town

Kind regards
