1. Facilitate and coordinate provincial rural development and land reform programmes.
2. Act as nodal point and face of the departmental in the province.
3. Liase and interact with relevant stakeholders in the province.
4. Provide a link between the province and head office.5. Render corporate and financial support services in the province.
