The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, together with the Premier of Free State, Ms Sisi Ntombela, will host the rural women event to commemorate the International Day of Rural Women on Monday 15 October 2018. The event will take place at the Black Mountain Hotel in Thaba-Nchu Local Municipality, Free State Province.

On the day, the Minister will visit land reform projects, hand-over tittle deeds and agricultural implements to land reform beneficiaries.

The event seeks to give women in rural areas the opportunity to interact with various stakeholders including local government, government departments and State Owned Entities to discuss areas of common interest and to provide platform for women to share their experiences, challenges and success stories.
