Deputy Minister To Officially Open DEEDS Registry Office In Limpopo

Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Minister, Mr Mcebisi Skwatsha will on Wednesday 5th April 2017, officially open the Limpopo Deeds Registry office in Polokwane.

The Deeds office will be the first of its kind in the Limpopo Province. Until now the deeds service delivery model in the province was such that clients were forced to travel long distances in order to access Deeds Registry services, as the nearest office was in Pretoria more than 260 kilometers away.

The establishment of the Limpopo office is aimed at promoting access to deeds services to the community and to provide service delivery that is client-centric. This while contributing to the DRDLR's strategic goal by providing improved land administration for integrated and sustainable growth and development.
