Deputy Minister to handover portion of Land in Kwamashalabane farm
The Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Mncebisi Skwatsha will, on the 14th of March 2016, hand-over portion of land to the farm dwellers and farm workers as part the “one household, one hectare” programme in KwaMashalabane farm, Piet Retief, at Mkhondo local municipality in Mpumalanga province.

The Deputy Minister will also plant seeds for the 34 households staying on the farm. The aim is to rekindle the class of black small farmers whilst also fighting the scourge of poverty. It is also a chance for development whilst turning around the rural areas. This forms part of the Agri-park development and these small farmers will supply the Agrihub being developed in Mkhondo.
