Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will remember the father of our nation former President Nelson Mandela during a National Day of Service at Mashupje Secondary School at Ga-Phasha village in the Sekhukhune District, Limpopo province on Wednesday the 18th July 2018.
Minister Nkoana - Mashabane facilitated the refurbishment of the school, in partnership with in partnership with the municipality, local business and citizens. The renovations included work on the Administration block, ablution block and three classrooms. The school was in a state of disrepair prior to the refurbishment.
The project was undertaken pursuant of the campaign to call on all South Africans to be agents of change for the better and therefore to be the legacy under the National Theme "Be the Legacy". The Call is guided by the spirit "Thuma Mina" by President Cyril Ramaphosa encouraging all South Africa to go out and serve.
