 The Minister of Rural Development and land Reform (DRDLR), Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF), Mr Senzeni Zokwana, will, on 30 April 2019, launch the Mkhuhlu Agri-Hub in Hazyview, Mpumalanga.  
 DRDLR, in partnership with the Mpumalanga Provincial Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs (DARDLEA), will build a structure worth R50 million to be used as an Agri-Hub. 
 The two departments have been working together in identifying projects to support the development of Agri-parks projects in Ehlanzeni District, including the pack-house in Huttington which was built by the DRDLR through the Rural Infrastructure Development programme. The pack-house is situated a few kilometres from the Hub which is used, for washing, sorting, grading and packaging local produce.
 The Agri-Hub will start functioning on the day of the launch with produce from the local farmers. It is expected that it will contribute to the growth of the local agricultural sector through integrated agricultural value chains.
