The Chief Land Claims Commissioner, Ms Nomfundo Ntloko-Gobodo will on 12 and 13 October 2017 host an Urban Development Dialogue to discuss urban land settlement models for land restitution beneficiaries. The dialogue will look at the challenges of settling land claims in urban areas.
The two day dialogue will be attended by various stakeholders including SALGA, government departmental heads, developmental agencies, academics and industry professionals.
The purpose of the dialogue is to develop best practice settlement models for urban land claims with key focus on balancing the rights of land claimants versus the rights of current land owners and spheres of government in the context of urban land use development plans.
The dialogue will take place as follows:

Dates: Thursday, 12 October 2017 (09:00 – 17:00)
Friday, 13 October 2017 (09:00 – 14:00)
