Minister Didiza extends the validity period of vouchers for the collection of inputs by successful farmers for the COVID-19 Agricultural Relief Fund
The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Ms Thoko Didiza (MP) would like to announce the extension of the validity period for the COVID-19 Agricultural Relief Fund vouchers issued to farmers for the collection of inputs from approved suppliers across the country.

The minister is extending the validity period of the vouchers from the original expiry date of 30 June to the new date of 31 July 2020.  The minister’s decision is aimed at ensuring that farmers and suppliers transact successfully without pressure of time and that suppliers make available enough stock.

The department is in constant communication with all the suppliers appointed to supply inputs to ensure that they make available enough stock.

The minister has also communicated her decision with the MECs to monitor this process.
